I was a little hesitant to visit FabIndia initially due to less no. of reviews on Google despite the shop's presence in the area since many years. Nevertheless, I made up my mind to give the shop a visit due to the scarcity of good men's ethnic wear shops in Udupi-Manipal. FabIndia didn't let me down. The staff are professional especially the middle aged saleswoman (couldn't ask her name) who's so warm, active, a good listener and guided us throughout the act of purchase. Talking about the collection, they have a decent no. of outfits for everyone with low to medium budget across limited no. of styles. However, you might feel a lil' restricted due to inavailability of right sizes and lack of an in-house tailor to make alterations. I was lucky enough to get my hands on the newest piece in the store. The fabrics are soft and comfy, thanks to the handloom workers. You'll feel good after the purchase as you are directly supporting a handloom garment business by buying at FabIndia. Looking forward to make another purchase later this year. Imo, one of the best men's ethnic wear shops in Udupi.
