Visited Fabindia Palakkad to buy a kurta for my sister’s wedding—this was our first time at this store. The location is nice, though the shop is relatively small. The staff was very courteous and patient. Rahul, in particular, was extremely helpful in showing us various options and was quite knowledgeable. Overall, it was a pleasant shopping experience.

FabIndia is honestly one of my favourite brands, and this feedback is not about the quality of the clothing or the ambience, which are consistently good. However, the Palakkad branch has been repeatedly disappointing when it comes to service.
This is the second time we’ve had a poor experience there. The staff member assisting us did not seem enthusiastic or proactive. On a previous visit, we were looking to buy a shirt as a gift and were ready to make the purchase, but we were told there was no gift wrapper available, not even a decent-looking alternative. The staff kept saying some work was going on and that he couldn’t find the wrapper.
For a brand like FabIndia, this felt like a very basic service expectation, especially since the store is small and the issue could have been resolved easily with a little effort. Due to this lack of interest and initiative, we eventually decided not to buy the item.
I genuinely hope the management looks into improving staff engagement and service at this branch.

Fabindia has become more and more expensive with a drop in their collections and even quality. Doesn't make sense to buy clothes from there anymore and i was a diehard fan up until a few years ago :(
