I've been buying clothes from Fabindia since the 1990s when they had an outlet in Vasant Kunj, New Delhi. Since then wherever I've traveled to and have found their store nearby, I've bought from them. Now I buy clothes from them online. Though on the pricier side, I can trust their quality, fabric and tailoring. I buy only cotton dresses and it is extremely satisfying to know they use only naturally dyed fabrics.

I've been buying clothes from Fabindia since the 1990s, mainly because their stuff is authentic cotton that is dyed naturally with organic vegetable dyes and they promote the traditional handicrafts of India. Their pricing has increased from being affordable to being on the expensive side, but the market rarely has any other fashion brand offering environment-friendly clothing.
Of late, have been resorting to buying their stuff online and the service is generally good. Customer service is helpful, polite and friendly.
The only minus is that of late they have introduced rayon - though plant-based, it's harmful for the water bodies - and silk - a product of cruelty and thus non-vegan into their products. And their cotton salwars are being replaced by leggins. That's disappointing.
